The original author of this app is n0n3m4, contact him for any questions (I'm just a publisher, description is written by him).

QIII4A is a port of ioquake3 to Android. It is based on GPL source code with some usage of kwaak3 source code. Note that THIS APP DOESN'T CONTAIN OR DOWNLOAD ANY OF QUAKE 3 DATA FILES, you need to copy "baseq3" folder from Quake 3 game (patched to the latest version, I recommend to buy it on Steam: http://store.steampowered.com/app/2200/ ) to the folder specified in QIII4A launcher (example of correct path to "baseq3" folder: "/sdcard/qiii4a/baseq3" with "/sdcard/qiii4a" directory in launcher). But you can use OpenArena also (just press a button in launcher to download and install it).

This port provides the best onscreen control support (you can configure all controls) and supports multitouch. Also there is a full mouse support, but you need root rights for that (but it's worth it). You can configure screen resolution, color depth and MSAA in QIII4A launcher (in-game settings won't work).

Known issues:

1) In-game videos show a black screen (randomly).

GPL source code is included in APK. It is placed in APK\assets\source\.

Claim your territory by fending off competing gorillas with bananas and coconut bombs, but watch out for birds, aircraft, and changing wind!

Your mission is to vanquish your opponent by varying the angle and velocity of your throw, taking into account wind speed and direction, gravity, and the city skyline. The wind speed is shown by a directional arrow at the top of the playing field.

You have available to you the following weapons:

Single banana: this is the most basic type of weapon, and explodes on contact. Does 15 points worth of damage.

Bunch of bananas: this is a more advanced weapon, which splits into 3 bananas when the screen is tapped. This can do anywhere from 15 to 45 points worth of damage, depending on how many of the bananas hit your opponent.

Coconut bomb: the most lethal type of weapon! Coconuts bounce off buildings, and explode only 2 seconds after initial impact with a building. They explode on-contact with gorillas, however. Coconuts are useful when you wish to ricochet off of buildings, or when you need a lethal "death blow" to take out your opponent.
