Flade v1.2.0.0
Requirements: Android 4.0+
Overview: Flade is a unique take on what a home screen should be, a more minimalism text based interface is what Flade is all about.
WELCOME ALONG
Flade is an indie project and is constantly being worked on, and your support means the world to us! Note that when buying this app your supporting an indie developer (myself only) work towards his dream of being an independent coder. I don't have a team or company like some other home screens out there but that doesn't mean I'm any less committed to creating something truly awesome. To be aware the current public release is not as complete as it could be however we do have a beta channel and a G+ group committed to beta testing new features and options to get the best working version in you hands! you can join the beta if you would like just search Flade in the G+ communities page. I have a huge vision for what the future holds for Flade and i can promise if you stick along for the ride you won't be disappointed
CURRENT FEATURES
Flade is a unique take on what a home screen should be, a more minimalism text based interface is what Flade is all about. The home screen portion will make you feel less cluttered by helping you to organize your content into separate tabs (this feature is still in testing). There is a side menu to the left for a few quick options and you can tap the home button to slide out your app drawer for quick access. the wallpaper has a parallax affect (better with devices that have gyros) and on android 4.2+ the wallpaper gets a blur affect to make the text easier to read
FUTURE PLANS
I'm going to make the 6 main tabs more like dynamic folders that you can not only organize apps into but can pin actual content to (think pinning your favorite folder into the pictures tab). long term add on to that would be to incorporate smart adding to these tabs (think when your YouTube subscriptions add videos and those videos auto appearing in the video tab until watched) also hopefully (and this part is still just in the drawling board phase) is to have the right side menu have its own social chat like a side messaging client that i may or may not link into other social services depending on complexity and do ability. there are a ton of other things i have planned but ill keep them under wraps for now until I have a better understanding of how I will accomplish added them
What's new in this version:
Version 1.2.0.0 (October 6th 2013)
- new navigation system with a sliding pane
- apps can now be sorted into different sections by dragging and dropping
- theme options (parallax etc) are temp disabled, they will be the focus of the next update
This app has NO advertisements
